It's a little tougher than Zeus and also has some interesting aspects such as Feng Shui (related to the ancient Chinese views on harmony of the terrain and buildings) and residential walls which block desirability. I'm playing it now.Įmperor uses an updated Zeus engine and is overall a very nice game. Some consider it too cartoony and too easy, to others it's the perfect CB game.
Zeus is running on a new engine and looks different from C3 and Pharaoh. Pharaoh is running on an updated C3 engine and that's why the graphics look the same, but since you played it a lot already, I don't think I need to say more. It has a great atmosphere and it's still my favourite game. but it's a great game and you will undoubtly be enjoying it if you liked Pharaoh, just be prepared for a stupid market ladies.
In my opinion, they are all worth playing but you'll like some of them better than others.Ĭ3 is indeed the oldest game and therefore also (possibly) the hardest.
